Why ForenSys Curaçao Opted for Axxon’s Connected Dashcams and GPS Tracking system.
We had the privilege to sit down with two key masterminds at ForenSys: Mr. Isenia, the Data & Quality Supervisor, and Mr. Elizabeth from the ICT team.
Mr. Isenia’s journey with ForenSys began 12 years ago. He started as a field agent documenting accidents on the road, working his way up to becoming the Data & Quality Supervisor, overseeing the company’s operations today. His story is one to admire.
Mr. Elizabeth handles all things tech-related, he keeps the company innovative, managing both hardware and software integrations to ensure ForenSys runs smoothly and efficiently.
With over 40 employees and around 15 agents out in the field and a fleet of vehicles, ForenSys is always on the move, ready to serve those in need 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For them, maintaining high-quality service is everything, and technology plays a crucial role in achieving this.
But the road wasn’t always easy…
The Challenge
Picture this: A busy agent like Mr. Isenia, back in the day, arrives at the scene of an accident. He starts documenting the event, gathering details from those involved. But as you can imagine, stories sometimes change. What was said during their documentation might not match the story told to the insurance company later on.
“Conversations were happening in our vans that we couldn’t verify once the incident reports were filed. Some individuals involved would later change their statements with the insurance company, and others even received calls instructing them on exactly what to say to protect themselves,” said both Mr. Isenia & Mr. Elizabeth, Data & Quality Supervisor and ICT support.
ForenSys found itself stuck in the middle. They had to maintain trust with both the people involved in the accidents and the insurance companies they served. It wasn’t just about capturing what happened, it was about ensuring the truth remained intact, free from manipulation.
And then there was the safety issue. ForenSys agents, parked on the roadside to document incidents. This puts them at risk from distracted drivers. If their vehicles got hit and had no evidence, plus the other driver took off, ForenSys had to cover the repair costs.
To tackle these challenges, ForenSys turned to Dashcams, hoping this technology would provide the clarity they needed. But it came with its own set of problems. Regular Dashcams were unreliable.
“Each time something happened, our team had to go get the vehicle, take out the SD card, and try to find the footage. It was one hell of a job,” said Mr. Isenia, Data & Quality Supervisor.
SD cards would get corrupted, footage would get lost, and in some cases, drivers would even unplug these devices. Management had no way of knowing when or how these issues occurred, making accountability difficult.
On top of that, vehicle inspections and service reminders were being handled manually. Agents recorded vehicle statuses in personal notebooks, and every morning, phone calls were made to check mileage. It was time-consuming, expensive, and prone to errors.
That’s when Rodney Molina, our Senior Account Executive, stepped in. He saw that Axxon could provide the solutions ForenSys needed, so our partnership began.
“We saw what Axxon could offer us. Complete, user-friendly solutions that meet our needs and requirements,” said Mr. Isenia, Data & Quality Supervisor.
The Solution
The turning point for ForenSys came with our all-in-one GPS tracking system and our Connected Dashcams. It offered them a seamless, user-friendly interface that allowed their team to view the real-time location of every vehicle on the road.
Our system comes with different powerful tools such as the vehicle inspection and service reminder tool. This eliminated the manual work they were doing before. No more handwritten notes or morning calls to check mileage. Everything was automated, saving time and reducing human error.
“It really made a difference, we had to pay someone to do this manually, check mileage, schedule vehicle service. All that manual paperwork was automated in the Axxon platform. It feels like a heavy weight was lifted,” said Mr. Isenia, Data & Quality Supervisor
ForenSys equipped their agents with iPads and internet connectivity, integrating our driver app directly into their workflow. This allowed agents to complete inspections digitally and on the go.
The inspection was customized to ensure all necessary equipment was accounted for in each vehicle. If something was missing, management now had clear, accessible records to hold agents accountable. All without digging through notebooks.
With their upgrade from basic Dashcams to our Connected Dashcams came the peace of mind they were looking for.
They can now record not only the statements of those involved in an accident but also in-cabin and external footage in the event of vehicle damage.
“Now anything said during the documentation process is recorded, if a customer tried to change their statement at the insurance company later on, we can offer them proof of what was documented,” said Mr. Isenia, Data & Quality Supervisor.
Our Connected Dashcams provided real-time notifications, and since they were hard to tamper with, drivers could no longer disconnect them unnoticed. Even if they did, management would be instantly notified.
“We’ve set up important notifications to be sent through email. If there is an incident or if the connected dashcam gets disconnected, both Mr. Isenia and I will receive this by email,” said Mr. Elizabeth, ICT support.
Additionally, our connected dashcams continue recording for an hour after disconnection, giving them the extra layer of security they need.
The days of corrupted SD cards were over. All footage was automatically uploaded to a secure cloud, making it easily accessible anytime.
“One of our agents was recently involved in a vehicle accident, and when that happened I immediately got the recording in my email and could open the footage right away. By the time we arrived at the scene, we already knew what had happened,” said Mr. Elizabeth, ICT support.
The Results
The impact on ForenSys’s operations was immediate and transformative. With real-time tracking and automated dispatch, their response times improved, and the entire fleet was managed with unprecedented efficiency.
They no longer had to rely on manual vehicle inspections or paper logs, freeing up valuable time for both agents and management.
“If you ask me how I feel right now, I would say I am super content with how things are right now. As a manager, you know how much that means,” said Mr. Isenia, Data & Quality Supervisor.
The switch to Connected Dashcams drastically improved the integrity of their documentation process. With continuous, tamper-proof recording and instant access to footage, ForenSys was able to offer insurance companies clear, indisputable evidence in the case of accidents or claims.
Their relationship with both customers and insurance partners strengthened, as trust in their transparency and reliability grew. Having concrete video evidence meant that both ForenSys and the insurance companies could make decisions based on facts, not conflicting stories.
In the end, ForenSys not only optimized their day-to-day operations but also elevated the quality of service they provided. Ensuring they’re always one step ahead in an industry that relies on prioritization, accuracy, and trust.
